Svetlost (Lightness)

Svetlost is nonprofit humanitarian organization from Serbia, Europe, working to promote well being of children and youth in need. Several serious projects have been selected to make difference in Serbia. One of their projects is to incorporate, to make the FIRST YOUTH SOCIAL ENTERPRISE in Serbia, employing young people and disabled people. All the income generated by this enterprise will be spend on humanitarian aid: health care, education and other urgent needs of extremely poor children and youth. Serbia still does not possess sufficient resources for such undertaking, so we decide to request You to support Svetlost in such an important project.

An other project of Svetlost involves education. In Serbia has a high unemployed rate of 32 percent. The reason for this is that most of the unemployed, have only primary and secondary education, without practice or knowledge of computers, English language, or basic management skills. Serbia is very poor and most young people do not have a chance to work, or even have enough money to get proper education. To improve this situation and to break a downward spiral, Svetlost created a project to help them. This project gives basic education (course for computers, English language, basic management skills) to those who need it and also helps them to gain experience in firms in the region.

Laragh Finance S.A. was asked by Mrs. Dragica Kejic, the chairman of Svetlost, to assist with the collection of international donations for this wonderful project. We were glad to accept, as how often do you get a change to make a real difference? This organization works directly in the country where the needed are located. Your money will directly help the people of Serbia and you will know that your donation will not be spend on some hotshot charity director's salary before it even leaves your country. Please remember that most big charity organizations have such director, earning over $500,000 per year, and now guess were they pay him from... Support the local organizations instead, who know exactly what is needed in the country, simply because they live there.
